Over about 130 km, journey time depends mainly on traffic towards the Gotthard, the day and the weather in the Schöllenen Gorge.

About 1 h 45 between Zurich Airport and Andermatt; for Sedrun, about 2 h 30 in summer and 2 h 45 in winter.
Gotthard traffic jams
On holiday weekends, the queues before the Gotthard tunnel affect the A2 up to Göschenen: we take this into account and adjust the departure time.
Oberalp Pass closed in winter
In winter the Oberalp road is closed: Sedrun is then reached via Chur and Disentis. Our 4x4s and winter tyres drive at a suitable speed through the Schöllenen.
Recommended departure
For a flight from Zurich, plan a pick-up in Andermatt about 4 hours before take-off, and about 5 hours from Sedrun in winter.
